DOLLIMORE NAMED RCA U.K. PRESIDENT
12/13/16

It’s official: David Dollimore has been appointed President of RCA U.K. and Ministry of Sound, as RCA GM Neil Hughes is upped to MD and MoS A&R star Dipesh Parmar takes over from Dollimore as MD.

We ruminated the Dollimore move on Monday, and today label boss Jason Iley has confirmed it’s true while revealing a new partnership between RCA and Ministry–the latter of which Sony bought for $55m earlier this year. Dollimore succeeds Colin Barlow who has now left RCA.

Iley described the imprints as “two powerhouse labels with a phenomenal strike rate led by three of the best execs in the business.”

He continued: “David is one of the most dynamic and innovative A&R executives in the business whose track record speaks for itself. Dipesh is also an incredible executive who has helped Ministry become the driving force it is today and I’m excited to see him take the label forward here at Sony Music.”

Hughes’ promotion comes after a successful three years delivering campaigns for artists such as Beyoncé, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Justin Timberlake, The Chainsmokers and Sia.
