YOUTUBE PREDICTS 2019 BREAKOUTS
11/14/18

YouTube has, for the first time, picked 10 British artists set for success in 2019, based on a variety of factors including video views, engagement from global music fans and YouTube Music analytics. Top of the list is Atlantic act Mahalia.

Mahalia has more than 100k subscribers on her YouTube channel, and this week dropped a new single “One Night Only” featuring rapper Kojey Radical, another act tipped in the Top 10.

In no particular order, buzzed-about rapper Octavian (Drilla Records) is next, followed by rising R&B star and Polydor signing Grace Carter. Radical, who is self releasing, takes fourth place, followed by another Polydor developing act, singer/songwriter Sam Fender.

British rapper Slowthai, signed to Method, is also on the list, alongside Warner Bros.pop singer/songwriter L Devine, Island artist Dermot Kennedy, Columbia signing Samm Henshaw and Glassnote star Jade Bird.
