HALL & OATES HIT THE GARDEN
11/2/15

The other day, with the weekend approaching, we cranked up some classic tunes by Daryl Hall & John Oates and marveled anew: What great songs. What brilliant performances. What perfect-sounding records. As big as the duo got—in 1987 the RIAA deemed the them the top-selling duo in history, and last year they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame—it still sometimes feels like they never got their due. Fortunately, the stellar cable TV series Live From Daryl's House has helped keep the Jonathan Wolfson-managed duo and their brilliant musical legacy on the current radar

Which makes the announcement that they'll be headlining Madison Square Garden on 2/19 all the more noteworthy. The Live Nation-promoted event will see Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and Mayer Hawthorne opening up; tickets go on sale Friday at 10am here.
