THE BALL STREET JOURNAL: NIPPER'S REIGN EXTENDED

RCA’s reign on the top of the chart will hold for one more week. Mark Ronson “Uptown Funk” f/ Bruno Mars remains for a fourth week, with labelmate Pitbull’s “Time Of Our Lives” sliding up to the # 2 position. John Strazza, Inca, and Lori G have a stranglehold on the Top 5 with Chris Brown & Tyga “Ayo” at #5, increasing 510 spins. “Hotel” f/Chris Brown moves to #18, and gains 170 spins. They impact Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck” f/Iggy Azalea this week.

RCA's run at #1 looks to be over this coming week, as “Truffle Butter” by YMCM/Republic’s Nicki Minaj f/Jeremih is already #1 on the building chart after being up 910 spins on the week. Gary Spangler and Davey Dee also have Natalie La Rose f/Jeremih’s “Somebody” climbing to #7, up 450 spins, as well as The Weeknd’s “Earned It” from Fifty Shades, which penetrates the top 15 while adding an additional 385 spins. Kaylin & Myles’ “Trampoline” moves to #21 and tacks on another 175 spins, and Ariana Grande’s “One Last Time” rockets 31-21 and increases 325 spins. Taylor Swift’s “Style” (Big Machine) moves to #34, and Nick Jonas’ “Chains” (Island) is at #54 as they impact it this week.

Columbia’s Ayelet Schiffman and James White have J. Cole just outside the top 10, gaining 110 spins. Calvin Harris f/Big Sean’s “Open Wide” goes 26-23, and adds 170 spins. Calvin also has a record with Ellie Goulding, “Outside,” debuting this week. T.I. f/Chris Brown’s “Private Show” will debut this coming week. TK & Cash’s “Mind Right” is at #45 and should also debut. Lunch Money Lewis’ “Bills” is really starting to buzz; it debuts at Pop this week, and Rhythm stations are starting to jump on board. Snoop Dogg’s “Peaches and Cream” impacts this coming week, and Dej Loaf’s “We Be On It” is not far behind.

Rick Sackhiem, Noah Sheer, and Scott Maness at Def Jam have Rihanna/Kanye/Paul McCartney “FourFiveSeconds” storming the top 10, moving to #9 and increasing 510 spins. The Album-chart topping Big Sean’s “Blessings” f/Drake and Kanye leaps into the top 20, gaining 340 spins. Ludacris f/ Miguel’s “Good Lovin” is up triple digits, and lands inside the top 20. Logic “Buried Alive” is at #46, and Jeremih f/ J. Cole’s “Planes” is at #57. Iggy Azalea f/ Jennifer Hudson’s “Trouble” is just getting started.

Sujit Kundu at Epic has Ciara’s “I Bet” at #33, adding 75 spins, and debuts Casey Veggies f/YG & IAMSU’s “Backflip” at #37. Fifth Harmony f/Kid Ink’s “Worth It” climbs to #48, and they’re impacting it this week. Jidenna’s “Classic Man” moves to #53, with an increase of 140 spins.

Bob Weil at Sony Red is impacting Jordin Sparks f/2 Chainz’s “Double Tap” this week—make sure you spend some time with this.
