ALDEAN HOMERS AT FENWAY
9/12/16

Acting like Babe Ruth against the Cubs, Jason Alden calls his shot while playing Fenway Park at the first of two sold-out shows.

While the Red Sox were taking two out of three from the Blue Jays in Toronto, Jason Aldean kept the Fenway faithful entertained, filling the Boston ballpark twice as his new album They Don’t Know was smacking a grand slam online.

Aldean’s Friday and Saturday stops at Fenway coincided with the release of the new album, which has sat at #1 on iTunes since it went on sale. It’s the second time he has played the storied venue; in 2013, Aldean was the first country artist to ever play the ballpark.

"We’ve had these shows circled on our calendar for quite a while,” Aldean said while wondering how anyone can stomach a Fenway Frank. “This is one of the most iconic ballparks in the country with so much history, and we were able to cut loose and have some fun with those crowds. It was pretty cool to play new music off this album, at the same time the Red Sox are #1."
