AMERICANA WALK
9/7/17

Here we find two more key players in American roots music, Jim Lauderdale and Buddy Miller, perusing a copy of Woman Walk the Line by our own Nashville correspondent, Holly Gleason. Holly joined the pair for a two-hour conversation about the acclaimed volume and its venerable subjects on their joint radio series, The Buddy & Jim Show, on SiriusXM's Outlaw Country, premiering tomorrow night (9/9) at 10pm and running all week. Meanwhile, legendary broadcaster Bob Kingsley is featuring the book on his Country Top 40 show, syndicated on 350 stations, this weekend.

Holly will be moderating a panel on Friday at the Americana Music Festival and Conference at the Westin. More details here. Lauderdale, as you doubtless know, will host the confab for the 15th time.

Among the panel's other participants: No Depression's Kim Ruehl, historian Holly George Warren, Fisk poet-in-residence Caroline Randall Williams, Pulitzer Prize winner Wendy Pearl.

And check out Holly's Woman Walk the Line Spotify playlist below.
