As was previously rumored, established and well-liked songwriter Nicolle Galyon has re-upped with Warner/Chappell. The pubco, which has been championing her for more than 10 years now, officially announced the extension of her deal yesterday. It's safe to assume that this was a biggie.

“Nicolle is one of the most talented individuals to grace Music Row," shared W/C Nashville Prez Ben Vaughn. "Her command of lyric and melody has propelled her to be recognized as someone that has true commerciality & depth in every writing session. There is no limit to the places she can continue to grow in this industry as a songwriter, vocalist, producer, mentor, & collaborator. Everyone in the Warner/Chappell family is proud to continue a relationship with a friend and partner like Nicolle,” whose recent work includes Keith Urban’s “Female” and “Coming Home,” Lady Antebellum’s “Heart Break,” Kenny Chesney’s “All the Pretty Girls,” Lee Brice’s “Boy,” and Dan + Shay’s “Tequila,” as well as Camila Cabello's “Consequences."

Seen above before tequila led to consequences are (Front Booth) Galyon, W/C's BJ Hill, Vaughn and Ryan Beuschel; (Back) WC's Will Overton, Alison Junker, Jessi Vaughn, Bethany Mako, Katie Jelen and Phil May, Farris, Self, & Moore's Kella Stephenson-Farris and Greenberg Traurig's Jess Rosen.
