RYAN'S HOPE BECOMES REALITY
6/6/18

Cary Ryan has been awarded his stripes at Sony Music Nashville, as he's promoted to the position of VP, Release Planning and Production. The announcement comes from SVP, Legal and Business Affairs Angie Magill.

Ryan, who’s been involved with inventory management and production in the biz for 27 years, will be charged with directing the label group’s scheduling, production and distribution through the physical and digital supply chains. He’ll also continue to oversee the release-planning and production department.

“Cary has been on the front line of our industry evolution,” Magill noted. “He’s always the first to step up to take on new responsibilities and develop solutions to new challenges.”

The veteran exec seems to genuinely enjoy what he does for a living. “I look forward to continuing to be a part of music reaching people and the challenges and opportunities to that end,” he said.
