BROWN GOES PLATINUM
3/17/20

RCA Nashville/Zone 4’s Kane Brown has earned three new certifications by the RIAA. The 4X AMA winner’s self-titled debut album, which spent 13 weeks at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart, is now 2x platinum. The album includes 5x platinum tracks “Heaven” and “What Ifs” f/Lauren Alaina.

Brown’s second studio album Experiment has also officially been certified platinum and becomes the only country album released since November of 2018 to achieve this status. The 26-year-old joins Garth Brooks and Carrie Underwood as one of the only artists to receive platinum and multi-platinum certifications so far in 2020.

Additionally, Brown’s “Homesick,” which has spent two weeks at #1 at Country radio, is now RIAA platinum-certified. Co-written by Brown, Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips and produced by Dann Huff, the single is the third #1 platinum track from Experiment and marks the 7th overall career platinum-certified single for Brown.
