KANE BROWN LAUNCHES 1021 ENTERTAINMENT
2/11/21

Country star Kane Brown has officially launched his own imprint, 1021 Entertainment, as a joint venture with his label home, Sony Music Nashville.

As the label’s first signing, country trio Restless Road—consisting of Zach Beeken, Colton Pack and Garrett Nichol—have also released their debut single, “Took One Look At Her Momma,” via 1021 Entertainment/Sony Music Nashville today (2/10). The track was co-written by Restless Road with Lindsay Rimes and Andy Albert.

“We are excited to welcome Restless Road to the Sony Music Nashville roster. Colton, Zach, and Garrett each bring undeniable talent, dedication, and innovation to this trio,” shared Margaret Tomlin, Sony Music Nashville Director, A&R.

"I want to give people chances to succeed. With 1021 Entertainment, I feel like we have a platform and team that can mentor and build up talent in country music. With my own label, I want to use it as an opportunity to shape and promote artists that may not have gotten a chance otherwise, for Restless Road and others in the future," added multi-platinum artist Brown, who worked as an official mentor on NBC’s The Voice last season.

Late last year, Restless Road inked a global pub deal with Sony/ATV following the release of their debut, self-titled EP. In addition to their own music, the band has written cuts with the likes of Rascal Flatts and Granger Smith, among others, and toured sold-out arenas on Brown’s Worldwide Beautiful Tour.

Jess Rosen, who reps Brown in legal matters, would like to remind you that every tear in every beer is billable.
