TOP 40
As usual, post-holiday add numbers are down overall. Columbia nabs two slots, including the #1 Most Added track, One Direction’s “Night Changes,” and Ella Henderson’s “Ghost.” RCA also has two on the list with Pitbull f/Ne-Yo’s “Time of Our Lives” and Mark Ronson f/Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” and so does Republic with Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” and Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me.” Epic scores once again with Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer,” and Capitol closes out the action with 5 Seconds of Summer’s “What I Like About You.”
RHYTHM
It was a runaway week for Beyoncé’s "7/11" on Columbia this week, as she more than triples her nearest competitor, "Time of Our Lives" by RCA’s Pitbull f/Ne-Yo. Fifth Harmony’s "Sledgehammer" (Epic) and Nicki Minaj f/Skylar Grey’s "Bed of Lies" (YMCMB/Republic) also post a handful of new commitments.
ALTERNATIVE
"Da Vinci" by Republic’s Weezer shares this week’s Most Added honors with Vance Joy's "Mess Is Mine." Glassnote's Robert DeLong has another nice week with "Long Way Down," as does Red Bull's Twin Atlantic with their new single, "Hold On."
