PRIMARY WAVE PARTY ROLL CALL: The party, which was held at the tony SLS Hotel on La Cienega, started just as the Whitney news was breaking and various bits of misinformation were flooding in (e.g., “Clive’s party’s been canceled”). All the PW hitters were on hand, of course, including Larry Mestel, Justin Shukat, Tom Maffei, Jeff Straughn, Adam Lowenberg and Blue Willams. Among those in attendance were Cee Lo, John Branca, Lauren Christy, Brian Kennedy, Abbey Konowitch, The Airborne Toxic Event, Steve Leeds, Steve Greenberg , Pat Monaco, Dina Lapolt, Wendy Goodman, Pete Galli, Def Leppard, Alien Ant Farm, Natasha Bedingfield, John Legend, Harvey Mason Jr., Peter Schwartz, Phil Graham, Ali Temposi (who wrote Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger"), David Boxenbaum, Barrett Yeretsian, rapper J-Best and Jeff Fenster.
