Kevin Hall upped to EVP at Rondor

HALL PASS: Kevin Hall has been upped to EVP Creative at Rondor Music, reporting to President Lance Freed, who made the announcement. “Kevin’s track record of success speaks for itself,” said Freed. “Quite simply, Kevin has become one of the best publishers in the business. He subscribes to the Rondor philosophy of signing quality songwriters, producers and recording artists and nurturing their talent before they achieve success. By expanding the playing field for him, I expect Kevin to excel even more and add to the wonderful legacy of music that has always been synonymous with Rondor.” During his eight years at the company, most recently as SVP, Hall has signed Jason Derulo, James Fauntleroy, Sly Jordan, Kwame, Trak Starz, Bobby Valentino, Eric Dawkins, Steve Russell and Timothy Bloom, while also implementing joint ventures with Harvey Mason Jr. and Damon Thomas for Underdog Entertainment and with J.R. Rotem and partner Zach Katz for Beluga Heights/Net Worth Entertainment. Prior to joining Rondor, Hall was VP A&R at Island. He started out at PolyGram Music Publishing. (8/17a)
