AUSTIN CONCERT TO AID HARVEY VICTIMS

With Hand in Hand wrapped, another benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Harvey has been set for 9/22 starring Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt.

The four-hour Harvey Can't Mess With Texas: A Benefit Concert for Hurricane Harvey Relief will take place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin. Austin-based C3 Presents is producing the event with all services donated.

The 11 TEGNA TV stations in the Lone Star State will broadcast the concert, an hour of which will be streamed internationally on YouTube.com/TexasStrong. The stream begins at 7pm PT/10pm ET/ 9pm CT.

Other performers include Leon Bridges, Lyle Lovett, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Edie Brickell & New Bohemians and Ryan Bingham. Charlie Sexton will serve as Music Director; Asleep at the Wheel is the house band.Matthew McConaughey, Dan Rather, Renée Zellweger, Luke Wilson and others will speak.

Proceeds will benefit the Rebuild Texas Fund created by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in collaboration with the OneStar Foundation. The four focus areas of the fund are health and housing; schools and child care; workforce and transportation; and capital for small businesses.
