YOUR WEEKEND BOX OFFICE

With $36m, Sony's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle spends its second week at the top of the year's first box office roundup. The highest-charting debut, meanwhile, is Universal's Insidious: The Last Key, which bows at #2 with north of $29m.

And as the conversation around the Time's Up movement gets louder, an array of female-driven, awards-season contenders climb. For one, Aaron Sorkin's buzzed-about directorial debut, Molly's Game, (starring Jessica Chastain) enjoys a nice bump, moving #13-7, up more than 197% as it lands at an additional 1,337 theaters.

Neon's Margot Robbie-led I, Tonya, which cleverly tells the twisted story of Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding, leaps #23-12. And Fox's The Post—the Steven Spielberg movie that sees Meryl Streep as Katharine Graham, first female publisher of The Washington Post, who risks everything to reveal government-protected secrets about the Vietnam War—rises #24-15. Both films are up more than 200%.
