DEPIPPA, RUSSELL ARE OFFICIALLY ISLAND DWELLERS
It’s official: Mike DePippa has been named SVP Promo for Island Records, while Toby Russell is dubbed VP, Top 40 Promo & Artist Development, reporting to Island chieftain David Massey and EVP/GM Eric Wong. The pair will continue to work closely with Republic’s Charlie Walk, Gary Spangler and team, though word is that henceforth they’ll be saying “Hey, buddy” with an English accent.
