SUPER BOWL BOOKS P!NK FOR ANTHEM

P!nk will perform the National Anthem before Super Bowl LII on 2/4 at U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

It will be the RCA singer’s first time performing "Star-Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl. Last year, Luke Bryan got the assignment, breaking a string of nine consecutive performances by female singers. Among those were memorable ones from Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys.

NBC and the NFL made the announcement but did not note if they will continue the nine-year tradition of a performance of “America the Beautiful,” which has been handled by Broadway stars, choirs, John Legend and others.
