As part of their ongoing Secret Genius initiative—which highlights the contribution songwriters and producers make to the music industry and artists’ careers— Spotify hosted a special event at the home of "the ultimate Secret Genius," legendary music producer Quincy Jones.
The night started with cocktails in his living room with a special performance by Alfredo Rodriquez, a piano player who defected from Cuba and entertained the room with an incredible new rendition of "Thriller," an arrangement which he and Quincy worked on together.
Some of the guests included No ID, Alex Da Kid, Rodney Jerkins, Boi1da, Ali Tamposi and more. Seen in the top pic below, chilling with music icon Jones are Spotify's Troy Carter and Tiffany Kumar. In the lower photo, KidInAKorner's Alex Da Kid is flanked by songwriter Diana Gordon and producer Malay Ho.
