PLAQUE BUILDUP

More than a dozen execs from the Bunny recently hopped en masse to an L.A. studio where Bebe Rexha was working on a new recording to surprise her with an RIAA platinum plaque for her smash single “Meant to Be” f/Florida Georgia Line. As the giddy WBR staffers swarmed around the breakout artist, Co-Chairman/COO Tom Corson blew the whistle he keeps in his pocket for just such occasions and, paraphrasing Vince Lombardi, ordered, “Pull yourselves together, people! When you get in the presence of greatness, act like you’ve been there before.” Later, as the crowd dispersed, Corson asked Rexha to autograph the back of his hand.

After regaining their composure, the following gathered around the star and the new boss for the requisite photo op: (front row, l-r) PJ Bloom, Lori Feldman, Mikelle Schwartz, manager Adam Mersel, Peter Gray, Larry Mattera, Laura Swanson, Norman Wonderly and Jack Yslas; (back row) Parker Ulry, Mark Flaherty, Ben Larsen, Dave Anderson, Axel Hyge, Mike Sherwood.
