WMG'S LATEST DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT

Warner Music Group has tapped Alex Kamins to lead West Coast-based partnerships and drive new digital media and business diversification opportunities. His new 10-word title is Vice President, Global Digital Business Development—Innovation & Emerging Technology.

Kamins is moving to L.A. from New York and will continue to report to Jeff Bronikowski, SVP, Global Digital Business Development—Head of Innovation & Emerging Technology.

Kamins’ focus is partnerships, licensing deals, and investments in established and emerging digital platforms, new content opportunities, new technologies and location-based entertainment.

“We’re always looking to establish partnerships with the most innovative tech companies and startups, and for the past several years Alex has played a critical role at WMG by keeping a pulse on what’s new and next in the industry,” Bronikowski said. “His ability to identify and create successful partnerships will be highly valuable to WMG as we solidify our business development team’s presence on the West Coast.”

Kamins spearheaded various partnerships at WMG including the first major label license deals with Musical.ly and Melody VR. He was in investment banking prior to joining WMG.
