IDOL GOES ALL IN ON CARRIE'S "CRY"

The new video for Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” received its premiere Sunday night on American Idol, as the ABC series prepares for an all-Underwood show this coming Sunday.

The former AI champ will be on hand this week to mentor the top five contestants as they take on songs from the Underwood songbook. Underwood will also perform “Cry Pretty” on Sunday’s show.

The new album—her first for Capitol Records Nashville—comes out 9/14. In case you’re wondering Underwood won American Idol in 2005.
