NEW ALESSIA: A "GROWING" STORY

Def Jam's Alessia Cara, whom you may recall from her multiple smash singles and Best New Artist Grammy victory, has dropped a new single, "Growing Pains," this week; she's  also released the lyric video, which you can check out below.

Cara will perform the new track on Fallon on 6/18.

In addition to her Grammy, Cara's shelf is groaning with other laurels, including two ASCAP Pop Awards, a BET Best New Artist trophy, BBC Award for Song of the Year and more.

We're told that thanks to hits like "Here," Scars to Your Beautiful" and "Stay" f/Zedd, the Canadian-born singer/songwriter has amassed in excess of 7 billion streams. That's a lot, right?
