U.K. CHARTS: IT STILL CAME HOME

Despite England being knocked out of the World Cup final thanks to fierce competition from Croatia on Wednesday, football anthem “Three Lions” (Epic) has ended the week at #1 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart with 80k combined sales. Over on albums, Drake continues to claim the top spot.

“Three Lions” shifted 43k sales, 6.8m audio streams and 5.2m video streams over the last seven days, adding to a total all-time sales tally of 1.6m since its release in 1996.

Drake is the highest new entry with “In My Feelings” (Island) at #4. George Ezra is down to #2 with “Shotgun” (Columbia), and Clean Bandit f/Demi Lovato are #3 with “Solo” (Atlantic). Drake is also at #5 with “Don’t Matter to Me” f/Michael Jackson.

Years & Years have jumped three places to #6 with “If You’re Over Me” and Jonas Blue is up four places to #11 with “Rise” (Virgin EMI).

Further down, Green Day’s “American Idiot” (Warner) is back up to #25 thanks to a Donald Trump protest campaign on Facebook.

Over on the Official Albums Charts, Years & Years have missed out on scoring a second #1 as Palo Santo (Polydor) hits #3. The Greatest Showman soundtrack (Atlantic) is at #2; Tom Grennan has the second highest new entry with Lighting Matches (Insanity) at #5.
