HARRIS TOPS FORBES LIST OF TOP DJS

For the sixth consecutive year, Calvin Harris tops the Forbes list of the highest paid DJs in the world. The Chainsmokers are right behind him.

According to Forbes, the world’s five highest paid DJs are:
1. Calvin Harris ($48 million)
2. The Chainsmokers ($45.5 million)
3. Tiësto ($33 million)
4. Steve Aoki ($28 million)
5. Marshmello ($23 million)

The magazine ranks electronic acts by using their pretax earnings from June 2017 through May 2018, before deducting fees for lawyers, agents and managers. Estimates are based on numbers from Nielsen, Pollstar, Bandsintown and Songkick, as well as interviews with industry experts and some of the DJs.

Harris earns seven-figure paydays for his festival sets around the world and six figures for his Vegas sets, which put him at #1 again. The Chainsmokers, a mere $2.5m behind him, benefitted from playing more than 100 shows in the scoring period.
