SONG REVENUE CHART:
WAYNE’S WORLD

You don’t need to be a financial expert to grasp the fact that Lil Wayne has had an exceptionally lucrative week. The veteran rapper and label owner has monopolized the entire Top 10 of our Song Revenue Chart with tracks from Tha Carter V, led by the Kendrick-powered “Mona Lisa,” which took in a whopping $335k all by itself. In all, six Wayne tracks earned north of $200k, while every one of the album’s 23 cuts was among the Top 50 earners.

Will Wayne be able to keep the big bucks coming in? Not to this degree, certainly, but he’s got momentum, and he’s proved that his popularity is undiminished.

While Wayne is filling the frame right now, keep an eye on “Swallow,” the Gaga-Bradley Cooper duet, which enters the chart at #26 and aims to stick around for a spell.
