COLUMBIA GOES TO THE SONKIN PLACE

Lisa Sonkin has been upped to SVP of Rock Formats and Public Radio at Columbia. She will add her new Alternative and Rock duties to her existing workload at AAA, much to the delight of HITS President Karen Glauber, seen at right with Lisa just before a Lo-Moon singalong.

"Lisa's leaderships and continued accomplishments at AAA, Non-Com and Public Radio make her the perfect person to head this expanded department," proclaimed head of Promo Lee Leipsner. "Her professionalism and passion are contagious and will be felt immediately in her new role. And I'm certain she'll continue to up our spins on such crucial public-radio programs as 'Baltic Trivia Night' and 'The Influence of Indonesian Cooking on Contemporary Political Discourse.'"
