An 8-year-old cover of a Kate Bush song and songs with new videos released in the last few days are among the greatest gainers on the Shazam USA Top 100 this week.
ABC’s A Million Little Things used Greg Laswell’s version of Bush’s “This Woman’s Work” (Vanguard) from a 2009 collection titled Covers.
The week’s other top gainers are new tunes. New videos have helped attract thumbs for Tyga & Nicki Minaj’s “Dip” (Last Kings/Empire) and H.E.R. f/Bryson Tiller’s “Could’ve Been” (RCA). In the U.K., Clean Bandit f/Marina & Luis Fonsi’s “Baby” tops the greatest gainers list just days after the release of a new video.
Also attracting thumbs are Takeoff’s first solo single “Last Memory” (Quality Control/Motown/Capitol) and, once again, XXXTentacion & Lil Pump’s “Arms Around You.”
