VEVO UPS EVANGELISTA

Vevo’s JP Evangelista will guide the company’s strategy around music video releases, content creation and programming in his new role of Senior Vice President of Content, Programming and Marketing.

Evangelista, who has been with the music video platform since inception, will also continue to work closely with artists, managers and labels to strengthen the company’s music industry footprint.

“I’ve worked with JP for some time now, and it’s been a pleasure to watch him excel,” said Vevo CEO Alan Price. “His reputation and relationships are second to none, and his strategic thinking has been invaluable to Vevo. Artist development is central to our mission and JP’s passion for all things music sets us up for success in 2019 and beyond.”

The company said that since Evangelista took a leadership position last year, there has been substantial growth across video views and engagement for Vevo original content.

“Developing and supporting artists at all stages of their careers is central to our mission,” he said, “and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with so many talented people both at Vevo and our wider music-industry family.”
