U.K. CHARTS: BRING ME A #1

Bring Me the Horizon have scored their first U.K. Official Albums #1 with sixth album amo (RCA) on 27k combined sales, 61% of which were physical. On singles, Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” (Island) remains on top with more than 10.4m listens.

BMTH bettered the #2 position their last record, That’s the Spirit, peaked at in 2015. Predecessor Sempiternal was their first on Sony and charted at #3 in 2013.

The Greatest Showman (Atlantic) drops a place to #2 and Rudimental are the second highest new entry at #5 with third album, Toast To Our Differences (Atlantic).

Backstreet Boys open at #7 with DNA (RCA), marking their first Top 10 in 18 years. Trevor Horn’s Reimagines the Eighties (BMG) lands at #11, while Rival Sons net their highest entry to date with Feral Roots (WEA) at #12.

On the Official Singles Chart, Grande finishes 27k combined sales ahead of her closest competitor as “7 Rings” spending a second week at #1.

Ava Max’s “Sweet But Psycho” (Atlantic) stays at #2 and Sam Smith & Normani hold on at #3 with "Dancing With a Stranger" (Capitol).

Calvin Harris and Rag’N’Bone Man’s “Giant” (Columbia) lifts a place to claim a new peak at #4, and “Wow.” (Island) by Post Malone moves down to #5.

Developing Polydor act Mabel has her highest charting single to date with “Don’t Call Me Up” rising four to #7.

Finally, two acts score their first ever Top 10s: J. Cole lands this week’s highest new entry with “Middle Child” (Polydor) at #9, and Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” (Virgin EMI) ascends three positions to #10.
