SONG REVENUE CHART: "RING" IN THE IDES OF MARCH

Ariana Grande and Jonas Brothers provided the one-two punch (as in #1 and #2) for Republic, which placed four tracks among the week’s Top 10 earners on our Song Revenue Chart, with a second Ariana offering coming in at #11. J. Cole’s “Middle Child” (Roc Nation/Interscope) moved up a slot to finish #3.

The Top 5 was tightly bunched during the generally down week, with just $3k separating the chart-topping “7 rings” from Post Malone & Swae Lee’s #5 “Sunflower.” Post also had the #6 song with “Wow,” one of two Top 10 entries to increase in revenue from the previous week. The biggest gainer was #8 “Robbery” (+18%), the first of 10 tracks from Juice WRLD’s chart-topping sophomore album, Death Race for Love (Grade A/Interscope).

Monte Lipman’s Republic and John Janick’s Interscope each wound up with six of the Top 20 moneymakers. Both killed it, but not in an "Et tu, Brute" literal way.
