BRANCA GOES TO HARVARD

John Branca will discuss the myriad deals he has worked on in conjunction with Michael Jackson at a Harvard Business School event titled “Negotiating Insights from a Master Dealmaker in the Music Industry.”

The conversation will be held over dinner at Harvard on Tuesday. HBS professor Jim Sebenius will interview Branca about his most challenging negotiations, which will be analyzed for their broader lessons. They plan to discuss deals related to Thriller, Jackson’s acquisition of Beatles copyrights, the Sony/ATV-EMI Music Publishing merger and the Jackson estate deals.
