Logic’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (Def Jam) is #1 on the album charts at iTunes and Apple Music, where Universal Music Group labels are off to a particularly good start. Besides Logic, Ari Lennox’s Tuesday release, Shea Butter Baby (Dreamville/Interscope), is #7 and BIG 4x from Interscope’s Stunna 4 Vegas, a Wednesday release, is #14. “Triggered (freestyle)” from Def Jam’s Jhene Aiko, released on Wednesday, sits at #2 on Apple Music songs.

Young Nudy & Pi’erre Bourne’s Sli’merre (Paradise East) is #2 at Apple Music.

Back at iTunes, Sammy Hagar & the Circle Space Between (FWO/BMG) drives in at #2 followed by the seventh album from Ciara, Beauty Marks (Beauty Marks) #3 and Marc Anthony’s OPUS (Sony Latin) at #4.

The first album in four years from Whitesnake, Flesh & Blood (Frontiers) is #5; Australian Christian rockers Newsboys are #8 with United (Newsboys) and Parachute’s self-titled Thirty Tigers release, their fifth overall, is #9.
