ROSENBERG DROPS A FEW BARS

During Music Biz 2019 in Nashville, Def Jam boss Paul Rosenberg sat down with Rolling Stone's Joe Levy to reveal some tasty tidbits from his career (and discuss a forthcoming and hotly anticipated mixtape documentary). Most impressively, he gave all of his remarks in the form of rhymes, while Rich Isaacson did some old-school pop-locking via Skype.

Rosenberg is currently grooving to the streaming breakout by his star Logic (featuring the label head's longtime management client Eminem); Logic's album, out now, is headed for a big chart bow. Meanwhile, YG, Jhene Aiko and YK Osiris make noise, and Alessia Cara continues to grow at Pop radio and streaming platforms.
