WARNER CHAPPELL WINS BIG AT ASCAP RHYTHM & SOUL AWARDS

Warner Chappell took home Publisher of the Year at Thursday's ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. Sharing the honor with UMPG, this is the second consecutive year WC has earned the title.

The company also notched 19 Most Performed Song of the Year Awards, with Grammy-winner Joelle James taking home Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song for "Boo'd Up" and Shane "MurdaBeatz" Lindstrom winning Top Rap Song for "Nice For What."

WC Music Co-Chair & CEO Guy Moot and Co-Chair & COO Carianne Marshall said, “A huge congratulations to all our songwriters, and to everyone on our team who share in this achievement. It’s a reflection of the inspiring songwriting talent at Warner Chappell and testament to the hard-work, dedication and integrity of our A&R crew, led by Ryan Press.”

The WCM team is pictured above celebrating the victorious night after all shouting "New Downtown Office" on the count of three.
