DRAGONS RISE UP TO FIGHT CANCER

Imagine Dragons raised more than $3m on 9/6 at their 6th annual Rise Up Gala at Wynn Las Vegas. The funds will benefit the band’s nonprofit Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), which helps families who are facing pediatric cancer diagnoses and the financial hardships treatment can entail.

The band’s Interscope Geffen A&M family were on hand to support the band in their endeavor. Seen breathing fire above are (l-r) the band’s Dan Reynolds, the label’s Nick Miller, manager Mac Reynolds, Interscope’s Carl Ryan and Daniel Sena, Dragons’ Ben McKee, Janick, the band’s Daniel Platzman, EVP Head of A&R Sam Riback, SVP Head of Marketing & Artist Development Matt LaMotte, Dragons’ Daniel Wayne Sermon, Interscope CFO Annie Lee and SVP Biz & Legal Tracy Kies, EVP Head of Media Strategy & Communications Cara Donatto and EVP Joie Manda.

TRF was created in 2013 when Imagine Dragon’s fan and friend Tyler Robinson lost his battle with cancer at the age of 17. The organization has very low operating costs, with 85% of every dollar raised by TRF going directly to families in need. These funds will help support the foundation’s work throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Malaysia.
