FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The Top 10 at iTunes albums is all new titles this flipover Friday, while the latest BTS single goes straight to #1 at songs.

Metal band Alter Bridge leads the way with their sixth album, Walk the Sky (Napalm), followed by Cody Jinks’ second album in two weeks, The Wanting (Late August).

Jimmy Eat World’s 10th studio album, Surviving (Exotic Locations/RCA), opens at #3 as they prepare for a U.S. tour in November. Another veteran rock act, Third Eye Blind, is #4 with Screamer (Mega Collider).

G-Eazy’s Scary Nights (RCA) gets into the Halloween spirit at #5 and scares up the top slot for a new arrival at Apple Music, #14.

Chris Janson’s third full-length, Real Friends (Warner Nashville), gets chummy with #6. The 12-member K-Pop girl group Loona nab #7 with [X X] – EP (BlockBerry/Kakao M).

FoalsEverything Saved Will Be LostPart 2 (Warner) ponies up at #8, and the first holiday album to crack the Top 10 this year is Idina Menzel’s Christmas: A Season of Love (Decca) at #9. James Arthur’s YOU (Columbia) follows at #10.

Florida Georgia Line, YUNGBLUD and Becky G. are among the new releases just outside the Top 10.

BTS f/Lauv “Make It Right” (Bighit) sits at #1 on the songs side of iTunes, where the only other new entry in the Top 20 is Katy Perry’s Wednesday release, “Harleys in Hawaii” (Capitol), at #13.
