PEARL JAM SETS RELEASE DATE, TOUR

Pearl Jam will release their 11th studio album, Gigaton (Monkeywrench/Republic) on 3/27, less than two weeks after starting a North American tour.

Gigaton is their first studio album since the 10/15/13 release, the Grammy-winning Lightning Bolt. The first single, “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” will be released in the coming weeks.

“Making this record was a long journey,” said Mike McCready. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

The 16-date tour kicks off 3/18 in Toronto and wraps in Oakland on 4/18-19. They play Madison Square Garden on 3/10 and two nights at The Forum in April.

Pearl Jam has decided that tickets will be mobile only and strictly non-transferable. For fans who are unable to use their tickets, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster will offer North America’s first Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange, which will allow fans to resell their tickets for the price they paid (including all fees).

The Verified Fan presale begins on 1/23.
