Press speculation is once again hot and heavy about a forthcoming album from Columbia's Adele. This has ramped up since manager Jonathan Dickins and agent Lucy Dickins confirmed to Music Week that a new set was due this year, with Jonathan adding, "the sooner the better."
We're told there's no official release date yet, nor has she been officially listed as pending, but it's looking probable that we'll see a new set from the megastar in 2020 "There's no rush and we're going to get it right” is the official mantra from those who know.
Adele's 25 debuted with 3.5m in November of 2015. Given the way streaming has changed the game, how might her new set roll out? Stay tuned.
