CHICAGO'S G HERBO CONNECTS WITH LOSS, TRAUMA ON PTSD

A prominent figure to arise from Chicago's Drill scene, G Herbo chronicles loss, pain and trauma on PTSD (Machine Entertainment/Epic). An all-star cast contributes on the album, most notably on the album's title track, featuring Chicago legends Juice WRLD and Chance The Rapper and Lil Uzi Vert. "PTSD" has been in the Top 15 on Apple Music all week. Other features include 21 Savage, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Lil Durk and Polo G.

The album art features Herbo holding the United States flag, with images of faces of loved ones he's lost replacing stars—emblematic of the pain and trauma he's suffered in the streets of Chicago.

With a deep growl and far cry from melodic, rhythmic bops created by hip-hop peers, Herbo tackles the often glorified struggles of where he comes from with striking vulnerability.

Watch G Herbo's vulnerability in a live performance of "Gangstas Cry" exclusively for VEVO.
