HOW ARE YOU DOING, REALLY?

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, iHeartRadio has partnered with the Mental Health Coalition for the How Are You, Really? campaign to destigmatize mental health conditions.

As part of the collaboration, iHeartRadio is also airing PSAs voiced by on-air personalities like Elvis Duran, Ryan Seacrest, Bobby Bones and Steve Harvey, encouraging listeners to answer the question honestly and challenge those friends, family and loved ones to do the same. Presented as a challenge on social media, the campaign has already prompted participants like N.Y. Governor Andrew Cuomo, Whoopi Goldberg, Deepak Chopra, Kesha, Kendall Jenner, Justin and Hailey Bieber, and more.

Additionally, iHeartRadio is hosting a 30-minute public affairs show discussing the effects of COVID-19 on mental health. Set to air across all of its stations this month, interviewees include social activist and iconic fashion designer Kenneth Cole, who also launched the coalition, Child Mind Institutes’ President Dr. Harold S. Koplewicz and National Alliance on Mental Illness’ Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ken Duckworth.

Formed by leading U.S. mental health organizations, brands and individuals, the Mental Health Coalition hopes to end the stigma surrounding mental health and change the way people talk about, and care for, mental illness. For more info, click here.
