The 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards aired 10/27 on BET networks. Megan Thee Stallion was the big winner, taking home three trophies. Pop Smoke won for Best New Hip-Hop Artist, Travis Scott for Best Live Performer, Teyana Taylor for Video Director of the Year and Lil Baby's "The Bigger Picture" for Impact Track.
Among the top performances were 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne's closing number, on which they were ably assisted by an HBCU marching band; City Girls' medley of "Kitty Talk" and "Jobs"; Quavo's tribute to Pop Smoke with their collabs "Shake the Room" and "Aim for the Moon"; and Def Jam's Big Sean & Jhené Aiko's steamy connection for "Body Language."
