Republic's Kid Cudi has announced that his seventh studio album will arrive Friday, 12/11. Ten years after dropping the second installment of his Man on the Moon series, the alt-hip-hop veteran returns with Man on the Moon III: The Chosen.
Joining Cudi on the new album are Pop Smoke, Skepta, Trippie Redd and Phoebe Bridgers.
Earlier this year, Kid Cudi earned his first #1 single, with Travis Scott, for collab "THE SCOTTS." He also dropped a single with Eminem. In 2018, Cudi, along with longtime collaborator Kanye West, created the group KIDS SEE GHOSTS and released a seven-track album, which debuted at #2 with 142k units.
Cudi also had a starring role on HBO's 2020 drama series We Are Who We Are.
Given the decade-long anticipation for the next installment of the Man on the Moon series, expect it to be among the top debuts on next week's HITS Top 50.
