THE CMA'S MICS PROVIDES RESOURCES

The Country Music Association has expanded pandemic-relief efforts through its Music Industry COVID Support (MICS) initiative. By partnering with a variety of nonprofit organizations, MICS is bringing additional resources and services to those in need.

MICS has aligned with Musically Fed, Touring Professionals Relief Kitchen, Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley’s The Store, Porter’s Call, LEVL up Fest, NoCap Shows and the Ryman Auditorium, among others, to offer assistance to those affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Musically Fed hosts drive-through food-aid events, while Touring Professionals Relief Kitchen has teamed with the LEE Initiative to serve meals in L.A., Chicago, Nashville and N.Y.

In partnership with Belmont University, The Store operates as a free grocery store, allowing people to acquire basic needs. It has also provided 1m+ meals to Nashvillians facing food insecurity. Porter's Call, meanwhile, offers free counsel, support and encouragement.

On 1/7 at 1pm CT, LBMC CPAs Jeff Talley and Chad Milom will host a webinar to help participants untangle such topics as PPC Loans, forgiveness for the self-employed, unemployment compensation, Economic Impact Payments for individuals and more.

MICS also posts about employment opportunities available throughout the music industry on their site. View openings or submit your own here.
