Pianist and singer/songwriter Jamie Cullum has signed a global publishing agreement with Sony/ATV.
It’s a homecoming for Cullum, who signed his first publishing deal 18 years ago with EMI, now owned by Sony/ATV.
“While I've had a long and interesting journey as a songwriter, I do feel like I’m entering a new phase in the body of work I’m creating," said Cullum, who has recorded more than a half-dozen albums for Universal Music labels.
“I respect the team at Sony/ATV and am excited to explore the possibilities of where we can use my songs not only within my own recorded output but also for other artists and in film, theatre, computer games and beyond.”
One of the U.K.’s top jazz artists/songwriters, Cullum is known for crafting hit songs across genres and collaborating with prominent talent such as Paul McCartney, Pharrell Williams and Kendrick Lamar.
