Capitol Music Group has promoted Bill Evans to Executive Vice President, Urban Promotion. He will continue to lead the strategy and execution of the company’s Urban and R&B radio campaigns.
President of Promotion/CMG Executive Vice President Greg Marella announced the promotion, saying, “Bill Evans is one of our industry’s most respected promotion executives, and he has consistently delivered winning results for CMG artists. He and I have formed an incredible partnership built on a collaborative approach and shared strategic vision for our artists’ releases.”
Evans has amassed 20 #1 records since joining the company in 2018, including eight at Urban Mainstream for Lil Baby.
Prior to joining CMG, he was SVP, Urban Promotion, for Def Jam, where he worked for more than a decade.
