REAKTOR MARKS THE SPOT FOR YMU

Sony Music Publishing is providing global administration services to Reaktor Music, the new joint-venture pubco formed by YMU Music and producer/songwriter Mark Ralph.

Ralph will use his West London studio complex, Club Ralph, as a base for songwriters; YMU Music will work closely with Ralph, supplying expertise and resources to support and fund signings. Producer/songwriter Dennis White is the first to join the Reaktor Music roster.

Ralph has collaborated on five U.K. #1 singles and is currently working with James Arthur, plus co-writing and producing Years & Years, whose third studio album is due later this year. Among the artists to whom Ralph has lent his skills are Jess Glynne, Jax Jones, Usher, Tom Walker, Clean Bandit and Rudimental.

“I’ve worked with Mark for many years and have always been impressed by his passion for championing other producers and songwriters,” YMU Music Managing Director Iain Watt said. “There's no reason Reaktor Music can’t become a hit factory, which will result in a consistent stream of success for the writers and producers we represent.”

Ralph is a longtime management client of Watt and Phil Morais.
