Sony Music Publishing is providing global administration services for the new joint-venture pubco between YMU Music and producer/songwriter Mark Ralph, Reaktor Music.

Ralph will use his West London studio complex, Club Ralph, as a base for songwriters; YMU Music will work closely with Ralph, providing expertise and resources to support and fund signings. Producer/songwriter Dennis White is the first signing to Reaktor Music.

Ralph has collaborated on five U.K. #1 singles and is currently working with James Arthur plus co-writing and producing Years & Years, whose third studio album is due later this year. Among the artists he has worked with are Jess Glynne, Jax Jones, Usher, Tom Walker, Clean Bandit and Rudimental.

“I’ve worked with Mark for many years and have always been impressed with his passion for championing other producers and songwriters,” YMU Music Managing Director Iain Watt said. “There is no reason why Reaktor Music can’t become a hit factory, which will result in a consistent stream of success for the writers and producers we represent.”

Ralph has been a long-time management client of Watt and Phil Morais.
