FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Lauren Daigle’s first new music in nearly three years tops iTunes songs this Flipover Friday, beating out a couple of new drinking songs in the Top 10. On albums, the Top 10 is all new arrivals.

The debut album from Madison Beer, Life Support (Access/Epic), is the only release making it onto the iTunes and Apple Music charts; it’s #2 in sales and the top new streamer, opening at #19.

Daigle’s “Hold On to Me” (Centricity) leads an all-new Top 3 at iTunes songs, with Darius Rucker’s “Beers and Sunshine” (Capitol Nashville) on tap at #2 and Elle King & Miranda Lambert’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” ordering another round at #3.

Post Malone’s Thursday release, “Only Wanna Be With You (Pokemon 25 Version)” (Republic), is #6, followed by Noah Schnacky’s “She Broke My Heart” (BMLG) at #9.

Beyond Beer, the Top 10 at iTunes albums is packed with releases from veteran acts; Architects’ ninth album, For Those That Wish to Exist (Epitaph), tops the chart, ahead of the deluxe edition of Josh Groban’s Harmony (Reprise), at #3.

Willie Nelson’s latest collection of songs associated with Frank Sinatra, That’s Life (Legacy), flies in at #4, while Alice Cooper’s 21st studio set, Detroit Stories (earMUSIC), motors in at #5. Julien Baker’s Little Obvious (Matador) is #6.

The #7 slot welcomes the 30th-anniversary edition of The Black Crowes' Shake Your Money Maker (UMe/American); Epica provides some Dutch metal at #8 with Omega (Nuclear Blast); NOFX’s Single Album (Fat Wreck Chords) drops the needle at #9; and #10 houses Israel & New Breed’s Feels Like Home Vol. 1 (District 11).

Sitting just outside the Top 10 are vault releases from Neil Young and Bob Dylan, plus new titles from Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, Steve Lukather, Wonho and Curren$y.
