ADCOLOR COMMENTARY: A GRAMMY WINNER LENDS H.E.R. VOICE

Just before her “I Can’t Breathe” won the 2021 Grammy for Song of the Year, acclaimed RCA singer/songwriter H.E.R. took part in an exclusive two-day virtual event to show support for ADCOLOR in Music, the new initiative from ADCOLOR, an organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting professionals of color and driving greater diversity and representation in creative industries. “We have a responsibility to share [our] knowledge,” she said during a conversation with Sony Music EVP, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer and ADCOLOR Founder and President Tiffany R. Warren.

Sony Music is one of several ADCOLOR in Music founding partners; others include UMG, WMG, Spotify, Apple Music, iHeartMedia, Pandora, the Recording Academy and Revolt Media & TV.

Other guests included Leslie Odom Jr. as well as a performance from UK singer Estelle. If you missed out, fear not: Check it out on demand for free and join the online ADCOLOR community here.
