A GRANDE ADDITION TO THE VOICE

Since very few creatures on earth can sing half as well as Republic superstar Ariana Grande, we'd be terrified to warble in front of her. But it makes sense that she's joining the cast of NBC's The Voice, as she announced via Twitter on 3/30.

Grande, who recently took home her second Grammy trophy (thanks to "Rain on Me," her duet with Lady Gaga), will be taking the spot previously occupied by Island's Nick Jonas. "So excited to welcome Ariana to our Voice family," tweeted Voice co-star and Columbia artist John Legend.

The diminutive diva's Positions has been a chart perennial since it dropped last October (it remains in our Top 15), and she's gone through the DSPs like a hot knife through butter. But you knew that.

While we're totting up Grande's exciting achievements, you can add this: She is the artist with the most songs lip-synced to (seven) on RuPaul's Drag Race.

In a related story, Scooter Braun has been practicing scales in the shower.
